Stupidity comes in 3's

One day, 3 stupid guys met at University and decided to join forces and make a movie about 3 Stupid Pirates... Perhaps one day I will post a video of what that idea became if I can sort out a decent enough copy ... about 5 years later though, after we'd all moved on and found our respective careers, I decided to revive those 3 little guys in an up to date tribute painting...

Long live 'Stupid Pirates!'

If either of the other 2 stupid guys are reading this, then you know what we should do about this situation! Let us revive these badboys ... it's be Stupid not to ... nerhhhhhhhhhh!

Well, I've finished it! ... Well, not completely as I had to kind of rush finish it in time for the old man's 50th ... I'm most likely being picky over the bits I'm still not happy with, but I will re-visit it at some point, and also look to make it full length aswell. Anyway, I'm rambling ...

Happy 50th Birthday Dad! ... Glad you liked your gift x

p.s. Let's see if we can get '50 comments' of Happy Birthday wishes for the old boy!!! I know you guys can do it ... either that or I'm not that popular ;)

A little something I'm working on in my spare time. This is a study from a publicity shoot for the truly swell series 'Mad Men' ... and if you haven't checked it out yet, then gee whizz you're missing out!

Life's Incredible Again...

Welcome to Loveable Brogues! This blog has been created in the demise of my previous blogs BlueSkyResearch & DarkSkyResearch due to them disappearing from my dashboard upon the mighty google takeover ( I will not grant them a capital 'g' ) ... Did any of you suffer a similar fate?
That said, it's clearly time for a refreshing change so to start off, here is a re-creation painting of a terrible resolution image of one of the superb pieces of art from the film The Incredibles. Why is it that all these films have great little pieces of art within the art itself, but no-one can find these pieces as stand alone items? They'd make a small killing surely, I know I'd buy some up. For a great example please visit Eric Tan's blog. The guy is wonderful.

All the finest to you all, I hope you like what eventually ends up here and I hope to meet some luvverly punters along the way. God Speed!
